Dr. John Smith

In 1997 Dr. John Smith of Kingston, Ontario became acquainted with Transitions Consulting Group at the Ontario Dental Association's Spring Meeting in Toronto. Dr. Smith had an extremely successful practice and was looking for improvement in the daily efficiency and to reduce the stress associated with the patient flow and administrative and clinical teams. Both he and his team realized that if they continued their chaotic pace, they would soon burn out and become ineffective to meet the needs of the practice.

Anticipating the enhancements, this team feels the experience is exhilarating and looks forward to each coaching visit. Business and clinical systems enhancements as well as communication skills for the team with regard to case presentation has allowed this team to present a unified front and atmosphere for their patients.

When a new team member joined the team, their Transitions coach was available for training and support. In addition, tracking and monitoring of the health of the business has demonstrated their hard work in execution of the proposed strategies. As is normal in the permanent change process, continually striving to not slip back to old habits is the challenge. Transitions' Performance Program has protected their initial investment and assured continual success and focus on the vision.
