Chrissy Farrell has more than 16 years of dental hygiene clinical experience and instructs dental hygiene students at a provincially recognized Dental college.
Chrissy first joined the dentistry profession as a certified dental assistant. Within her role as a registered dental hygienist, she has had the opportunity to build dental hygiene teams, implement periodontal programs and has taken on the challenge of converting to a completely paperless, digital dental office. Her professional clinical goal has been to provide every client with the highest level of quality dental hygiene care. She feels that it is imperative for all clients to leave their dental hygiene appointment feeling that they were treated with respect and kindness. She strives to provide each client with a dental hygiene appointment that follows the dental hygiene process of care and for every client to consider their dental hygiene appointment a learning experience. She believes patient education is crucial to maintaining optimal overall and oral health.
She has obtained her certificate in “Training and Teaching Adults”. She has had the opportunity to empower others with her passion for the dental hygiene profession through her teaching experience at the college. She has facilitated in both theory and clinical courses.
